The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro were announced in China last week, and today was the first flash sale of the flagships. Standard with all units leaving almost immediately. It took four hours for the allocated stock to be gone and the Xiaomi 13 received six times more orders in the first five minutes of the sale than the market launch, the company claimed.
Still, Xiaomi hasn’t disclosed the exact amount of units sold, which means we don’t know how much it earned during this first flash sale.
It is the first phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. They also run HyperOS, the company’s new operating system set to replace MIUI and spread across devices including cars, TVs and wearables.
The Xiaomi 14 starts at CNY3,999 (around $550) and comes with a 6.36” OLED, three 50 MP cameras and 90W fast charging. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is priced at CNY4,999 (about $700) with fast 120W charging for the big screen, high resolution and slightly larger battery.
The phones are expected to debut internationally in early January 2024.
