Weekly poll results: the Oppo Find N3 Flip is a good but pricey foldable

Despite a generous ₹12,000 cashback offer and ₹8,000 trade-in bonus, the Oppo Find N3 Flip is still too expensive for many people who voted in last week’s poll. Several people are hanging around, waiting for a phone review to make up their mind – our way.

The Find N3 Flip is currently only available in India, which seems spoiled for choice when it comes to foldable flips. Still, it seems Oppo has chosen its launch market well and some have complained that the N3 Flip is not available at local retailers.

Predictably, most are sticking with traditional bar phones for now. But among those looking for a flip foldable, a decent number choose to opt for one of the competing models.

Find out what went wrong with the N3 Flip? Not much, if anything, is based on the comments. One of the big complaints we’ve seen knocking Oppo’s marketing is that it’s the first flip foldable with a triple camera – Huawei already did that with the P50 Pocket. However, the “sunscreen camera” on that phone is fun but more of a gimmick. Oppo’s 32MP 2x portrait camera is worth a lot to regular users.

You don’t see many portrait/telephoto cameras on flip phones – in fact, this is a first. Even with these unique features, the success of Oppo Find N3 Flip depends on getting thumbs up in reviews. Lowering the price won’t hurt either.
