The vivo Y200, launched last October, will be joined by the Y200e 5G next week. The revelation comes from vivo’s Indian arm, which took to X to announce the February 22 launch of the Y200e 5G in India.
The teaser shared by Vivo shows the Y200e 5G in two colors with a triple rear camera. The orange model is called the Saffron Delight and features a back panel with an “eco-fiber leather” finish.
Vivo touts it as “India’s 1st Durable Eco-Fiber Leather” and claims it has survived 500 cycles of denim roller with quartz sand test, 48 hour salt spray test and 24 hour stain resistance test. The brand also claims that red wine, coffee and dragon fruit stains can be removed from surfaces within 24 hours.
vivo has not revealed any specs of the Y200e 5G, but Flipkart has revealed that the smartphone will pack a 120Hz AMOLED screen. We can see vivo or Flipkart confirming some more specifications of Y200e 5G before the launch next Thursday.
