Vivo V30 in for review
This is the vivo V30 – one of the first Snapdragon 7 Gen 3-equipped phones around, and the latest in vivo’s stylish V series.
It comes with a USB cable, a case and one of the biggest chargers we’ve seen that justifies its size with 80W peak power output, so we’ll let that slide.
The V30 lives up to Vivo’s high standards for design and build quality. In a world that always goes for a flat, matte look, the Vivo V30 is sleek and very curvaceous.
The Aqua model we have for review has a flowing texture on the back of the glass that is reminiscent of moving water waves. The blue shade on the back panel is quite subtle.
Vivo V30 has two cameras on the back – a 50MP f/1.9 wide angle and a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide with autofocus. The camera viewfinder has a 2x mode, but those photos are cropped from the main camera.
Upfront, the vivo V30 packs a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED with 1260x2800px resolution.
The Vivo V30 runs Android 14 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 on top. The unit we have has 12GB of RAM (with the option to add another virtual 12GB) and 512GB of storage. Finally, there is a 5,000mAh battery inside.
