Unannounced Nothing Phone and battery pop up in BIS listing
A new, mysterious device has made its way onto the BIS Certification Authority of India website out of nowhere. The device has a model number of A142, which is fairly consistent with the existing modeling convention of the Nothing phone line.
The original Nothing Phone is the A063 and the Nothing Phone 2 is the A065 with a new battery added to the unannounced smartphone, which has been certified under the model number NT03.
Information on the new device is still scarce, but another industry leaker recently suggested that nothing is working on the budget device under the AIN142 model number and the Nothing Phone 2A moniker.
Accompanying the leak was a single blurry image of some sort that appears to depict a familiar Nothing rear panel complete with Glyph interface.
As for specs, the only rough and unconfirmed details we’ve seen so far are a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a center-aligned selfie punch hole. Not much to do, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
