The itel S23+ is built around a 6.78″ FullHD+ curved always-on AMOLED display with 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, 500 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also has a fingerprint reader at the bottom for biometric authentication and a centered punch. – 32MP hole for selfie camera.
Moreover, the itel S23+ features a dynamic bar similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, which allows users to check notifications for incoming calls, reminders and battery status. However, it will not be available out of the box and will be rolled out with a software update.
At the back, we have a squirrel-shaped camera island with LED flash and two cameras – a 50MP primary and a secondary unit. The camera takes better portraits with eye tracking and portrait lighting features.
Under the hood, the itel S23+ has Unisoc T616 SoC with 8GB RAM LPDDR4X RAM (+8GB virtual) and 256GB UFS 2.0 storage. itel says the S23+ uses Atom storage technology that “automatically detects and organizes fragmented data on your phone, so you don’t have to worry about your phone’s performance degrading over time.” Furthermore, Atom storage technology “keeps read and write speeds as good as new, with speeds dropping by only 3% after four years of use.”
