Teaser images reveal Honor X9b’s design
The Honor X9a was announced in January this year, and it looks like the Honor X9b is all set to announce a successor. The handset has appeared on Honor’s Malaysian website, revealing its rear design.
The design doesn’t seem to differ from the X9a. It retains the circular camera island, although the ring feels thicker and stretches a bit more. But the most obvious change is the rear panel. It seems that at least one variant of the new X9b will be offered with vegan leather.
The company also posted a teaser image on its official X account, showing part of the front panel. It is curved again with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera.
The current Honor X9a is known as the Honor Magic5 Lite in some countries, but it is unclear if the X9b will be sold under another name as well. Judging by Honor’s “coming soon” tag, we won’t have to wait long for an answer.
