Samsung is now seeding Galaxy AI to S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Tab S9
Samsung has announced One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI on its latest foldable and Galaxy S23 series. The company revealed that the Tab S9 lineup of tablets will also get trendy new features via a software update:
Samsung aims to make AI more accessible. This is just the beginning, as it plans to bring Galaxy AI to more than 100 million Galaxy users by 2024, the company said.
One of the features Galaxy AI brings is Chat Assist, which adjusts message tone and translates messages into 13 different languages. There’s also Live Translate, which translates calls on the go, and Interpreter does the same but on devices with a split-screen interface for translating live conversations.
It features Circle to Search with Google, Note Assist, Browsing Assist and Transcript Assist for a seamless user experience in everyday tasks. AI-enabled devices can rearrange objects in photos for better shots with Generative Edit, and there’s also Instant Slow-Mo that creates extra frames for slow-motion videos of action-packed moments.
A UI 6.1 update should already be hitting devices around the world. If you own one of the phones listed above but haven’t received a notification, go to Software Update in Settings and tap Download & Install, where the update should appear over the next few days.
