Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 get Android 14 with One UI 6 beta access

Over the past few weeks, Samsung has been rapidly adding more and more of its smartphones to the One UI 6 beta program, and today we have two new entrants: the Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3, both from 2021.

The beta is now live for these two in Samsung’s home of South Korea, and if you live there and want to join the beta program, all you have to do is head over to the Samsung Members app and tap on your giant One UI 6 banner. . . See above. Then you enter some details and when you’re done you can go to Settings > Software Update, tap Download and Install and you’ll get the latest One UI 6 beta as an over-the-air software update based on Android 14.

But keep in mind that this can be a 3GB or more download, so make sure you have enough space to occupy it and you’re on a connection that won’t take ages.

At the same time, Samsung is working hard on the first stable release of One UI 6 for the Galaxy S23 family, and it could be out in the next few weeks. Older phones like the Fold3 and Flip3 will undoubtedly have to wait a little longer, but if Samsung manages to repeat last year’s impressive update release cadence, it won’t be much longer.
