Samsung Galaxy Fit3 spotted in a store, price revealed

It’s been over three years since the last Galaxy Fit smart band was released, but Samsung decided to resurrect the line with the Galaxy Fit3. It’s been widely leaked recently and now someone has managed to post a photo of the retail box for the band and even give a peek at the price.

The boxes were spotted in both black and silver at a store in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Based on previous leaks there should also be a rose gold.

However, the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is priced at TZS 250,000, which is roughly $100/€90/£80/₹8,000 (of course, this does not account for taxes and other costs). For reference, the Fit2 was priced at $60/₹4,000 at launch.

Samsung has another small health tracking gadget in the works, the Galaxy Ring. However, we won’t see it until later this year or even early next year, so if you want a heart rate tracker and step counter but don’t want the full Galaxy Watch package, the Fit3 could be a good option.

However, there is still no date on when Samsung will make the Galaxy Fit 3 official, but it can’t be long now as units have already shipped to stores.
