Samsung Galaxy A55 to feature 25W charging
The Samsung Galaxy A55 has received a regulatory approval in China, and the official listing says the phone will feature 25W charging.
This will be the fifth device in a row in the Galaxy A5x series with such a rate since the company started implementing it in the midranger in early 2021.
The phone with model number SM-A5560 (the 0 at the end means it’s the Mainland China version) will support 9V charging at 2.77A and the adapter will be sold separately.
We expect the retail box to have the same contents globally, meaning just the device, a USB-C cable and a SIM ejector pin.
This is the first time we have seen any official bit of information regarding the best-selling Samsung midrange series. So far, we’ve heard rumors that it might come with the yet-to-be-announced Exynos 1480 chipset, with four CPU cores clocked at 2.75 GHz and the other four CPU cores clocked at 2.05 GHz, a big performance boost. Exynos 1380. Core On.
