Redmi 4 is launching the Note 13 family in the Indian market on January 4, which we have known for over a week now. But what has not been officially confirmed is which members of the very extended family should be expected to land in India.
Today, the brand’s Indian arm has thankfully revealed one of them: it’s the Redmi Note 13 Pro, perhaps surprisingly. Redmi X has named it in a new teaser post and it has also got a special website to tease the launch.
There we confirmed that the Indian Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, like the Chinese model, will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It is, in fact, the world’s first smartphone to use that SoC, as Redmi boasts. We are sure that the back is made of glass. It looks like the next feature will be unveiled tomorrow.
Come on, let’s spoil Redmi’s party. Since the chipset is the same, maybe the entire phone launched in India is the same as its Chinese cousin? If so, expect it to feature a 6.67-inch 1,220×2,712 120 Hz OLED touchscreen with 1,800-nit peak brightness, 8/12/16GB RAM, 128/256/512GB storage, a triple rear camera (200MP) with OIS. main, 8 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro), a 16 MP selfie snapper and a 5,100 mAh battery with 67W wired charging support.
