Realme GT5 Pro in for review

Realme has produced some of its most powerful phones under the GT lineup over the years, but before the GT5 Pro, there wasn’t a true Realme flagship in the series.

Now there is – the GT5 Pro adds the final element to complete the true flagship puzzle – the flagship camera. You’ll get the same main camera from the OnePlus Open and OnePlus 12, a 65mm periscope telephoto with the largest sensor on a zoom camera, as well as an 8MP ultrawide shooter.

Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera. We just wish Realme had thought of something to cover the placeholder lens on the camera island as it detracts from the otherwise premium look of the phone.

Speaking of which, just look at the Realme GT5 Pro. It’s dressed in this unique Red Rock Orange color and features grippy vegan leather on the back. You’ll find wireless charging under that leather finish – a first for a Realme phone, and it’s 50W. The ample 5,400mAh battery has 100W charging.

The Realme GT5 Pro comes with a nice case, a USB cable and a 100W charger as per Realme’s high retail standards.

There’s a lot to check here – from the large sensor zoom camera to the battery life, the display that promises to reach 4,500 nits and the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. We’ll report getting it!
