Oppo Watch X announcement set for February 29

Oppo is teasing its next flagship Wear OS smartwatch, which will launch in Malaysia on February 29. The Oppo Watch X looks almost identical to the recently teased OnePlus Watch 2 which is launching three days earlier on February 26.

The Oppo Watch X has the same design as the OnePlus Watch 2 and we can assume the same specs. These should include a 1.43-inch OLED display with 466 x 466 pixel resolution, Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip and Google Wear OS 4. Oppo Watch X will be offered in Platinum Black and Mars Brown colors.

In related news, the Oppo Watch X (OWW231) has received MIIT and 3C certification which ensures 4G LTE connectivity via eSIM and 10W charging support. Rumors suggest that the smartwatch will have a 500 mAh battery.
