Oppo Find X7 comes with Dimensity 9300, only one telephoto camera
Oppo launched the Find X7 Ultra with two Periscope cameras, but it also launched the more affordable Find X7. It moves to a Dimensity 9300 chipset and loses a telephoto camera, but still offers plenty of interesting features.
The Find X7 shares its 6.82” LTPO OLED screen with the Ultra. It supports 4,500 nits of brightness, but the resolution here is limited to Full HD+.
The chipset is the Dimensity 9300 CPU with four Cortex-X4 cores (one at 3.25 GHz, the other three at 2.85 GHz) and four Cortex-A720 units (at 2.0 GHz). We’ve already tested the raw performance of MediaTek’s best chip and found it impressively capable.
The Find X7’s chipset is paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The Find X7’s main camera has a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 sensor that is 1/1.4” larger and also seen on the OnePlus 12 and Realme GT5 Pro smartphones. The ultra-wide camera has another 50MP sensor behind the 119-degree FOV lens. Then there’s the 64MP telephoto camera that packs an OmniVision OV64B sensor.
The selfie camera is the same 32MP f/2.4 shooter Oppo has been using on all its flagships since the Find X3 series.
The Oppo Find X7 has a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging – the same cell used in the X6 Pro and X7 Ultra. It’s out of Android 14 with ColorOS on top.
There are four color options – Ocean Blue, Sepia Brown and Tailored Black. The fourth is full purple and exclusive to this non-ultra design.
Oppo Find X7 is up for pre-order in China; The first sale is scheduled for January 12. The 12/256 GB version costs CNY3,999 ($560), 16/256 GB is CNY4,299 ($600), 16/512 GB is CNY4,599 ($640), and there’s also a 1 TB CNY4,999 ($700). A variant with storage.
