Oppo A2x is arriving on October 14
The Oppo A2x will arrive on October 14, the company revealed on its Weibo profile today. The smartphone was also listed on the brand’s online store, revealing that it will be an affordable handset with a starting price of CNY1,099 (which is around $150).
Specs haven’t been revealed yet, but reports suggest a Dimensity 6020 chipset. The listed memory configuration is 6/128 GB or 8/256 GB and we can see a camera on the back and another waterdrop notch on the front.
The online store has the Oppo A2x in Midnight Black, but the official posters apparently have two more color options – Flying Frost Purple and Mulberry Gold. The power key is large and flat, meaning it will double as a fingerprint scanner, assuming the front panel is an LCD.
There are still a lot of unknown specs surrounding the Oppo A2x, but we’ll have a clear picture in four days. The device is launching in China, and we will find out if it will make it overseas under the same name or a different name.
