OneUI 6.1 and Galaxy S24 series to double down on AI
Samsung unveiled the Exynos 2400 chipset with a 14.7x boost in AI performance and we expect to see the platform debut with the Galaxy S24 series. According to leakster Ice Universe, the SoC will be the biggest update in artificial intelligence, with “many new AI features” and a virtual assistant “more powerful than Bixby.”
The leakster claims that the Samsung Galaxy S24 will bring an increased focus on AI. The series will launch OneUI 6.1 with the vastly improved Bixby virtual assistant and the “biggest AI update in history”.
The Galaxy S24 smartphones will feature a new Xclipse 940 GPU, which will offer mobile ray tracing for games made with this feature in mind. The chip is likely built on a new 4nm LPP+ process and features a 10-core CPU, the flagship of which is the Cortex-X4 clocked at 3.1GHz.
Such speeds, combined with LPDDR5X RAM UFS 4.0 storage and a new Exynos 5300 modem, will no doubt make the Galaxy S24 series impressively fast across the board, but we’ll have to wait until launch to find out where it stands against its peers.
