OnePlus Nord N30 SE is coming: a rebranded Nord N30, itself a rebranded Nord CE 3 Lite

While everyone is anxiously waiting for the upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 12, OnePlus is working on yet another new device, this one much cheaper. Well, “new” if you have a very flexible definition of the word.

We are talking about OnePlus Nord N30 SE, which has just been certified by TDRA in UAE. So far so good, and this certification actually reveals the name. But it also gives us the model number: CPH2605. And the model numbers for both the Nord N30, as well as the Nord CE 3 Lite, launched in North America.

These two phones are identical devices sold under different names in different markets, and it looks like two weren’t enough for OnePlus, as it’s all set to add a third twin to the roster. For now, it’s not clear where the Nord N30 SE will be sold apart from the UAE.

Why OnePlus is doing this is also a mystery. Why can’t it be the Nord N30 (we chose the acronym of the bunch) everywhere in the world? Why should some people go with Nord N30 SE or Nord CE 3 Lite? What do “SE” and “CE” even mean? So many questions, and absolutely no answers from OnePlus on this matter.

However, the Nord N30 SE, like the Nord N30 and Nord CE 3 Lite, has a 6.72-inch 1080×2400 touchscreen, Snapdragon 695 SoC at the helm, 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, a triple rear system, 108MP main camera with 2MP macro. depth sensor), a 16 MP selfie snapper and a 5,000 mAh battery. It will likely launch with Android 13 on board, though Android 14 is already out.
