OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new midranger this month, according to a credible leakster. The company is working on an Ace 3V smartphone that will come with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, the first to do so.
The smartphone will come with a 1.5K screen, as Chinese companies are branding their panel resolution between 1080p and 1440p. However, it’s hardly an upgrade from the OnePlus Ace 2V, which had a screen of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels.
The OnePlus Ace 3V will pack a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC wired charging support, the leakster added on their Weibo page. It’s the exact same cell as the OnePlus Ace 3, which was later relaunched internationally as the OnePlus 12R.
The post also states that the OnePlus 13 will arrive earlier than expected, as the company wants to be among the first manufacturers to launch a flagship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The chipset will be launched at this year’s Snapdragon Summit scheduled for October.
