OnePlus Ace 3 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 goes on sale in China starting at 2,599 Yuan ($363)
Last week, OnePlus launched a sub-flagship smartphone OnePlus Ace 3 in China. After the announcement, the device is currently available for purchase in the domestic market, rivaling smartphones like Realme GT 5, Redmi K70, iQOO Neo 9 and Honor 90 GT in the Chinese market. OnePlus Ace 3 is available in three color options namely Star Black, Moon Sea Blue and Sand Gold. The device comes in three configurations, namely 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 2,599 Yuan ($363), 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 2,999 Yuan ($419), and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage for 3,499 Yuan ($48) ), respectively.
The OnePlus Ace 3 features a 6.7-inch curved-edge OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPPDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging. It runs on ColorOS 14-based Android 13.
The Ace 3 has other features, such as a 9140mm2 heat dissipation unit, dual stereo speakers, an X-linear motor and an alert slider. For photography, the Ace 3 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera and its rear shell houses a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
While the OnePlus Ace 3 will be exclusive to the Chinese market, a rebranded variant called the OnePlus 12R will be unveiled alongside the OnePlus 12 on January 23. This global release will include markets like North America, Europe and India
