Meizu 21 specs officially confirmed ahead of November 30 announcement

Meizu officially announced the launch event for the 21 earlier this week. It will be held in China on November 30 and before that, the company has now confirmed some features of the 21.

For example, the 6.55-inch OLED screen is provided by Samsung. It comes with “1.5K” resolution, SGS low blue light certification and 1,920Hz high frequency PWM dimming. The screen has a symmetrical 1.74mm bezel around it.

The Meizu 21 is also confirmed to have a 4,800 mAh battery, which when paired with an energy efficient screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and Meizu’s OneMind 10.5 AI engine will be able to achieve endurance that is typical. Requires 5,100 mAh capacity or more.

Meizu says the 21 lasted 8.2 hours in its (detailed) extreme endurance test, while an unnamed competitor with a 5,100 mAh battery only managed 7.4 hours in the same test. As per the previous 3C certification of 21, it will have support for 80W fast wired charging.
