Apple’s A17 Pro is the fastest chipset we’ve seen since its Geekbench test run, and we can now see how it fares on AnTuTu. Surprisingly the A17 Pro inside the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is one of the fastest phones on AnTuTu with a combined score of 1,641,883 points.
For reference, last year’s A16 Bionic chip managed a score of 1,474,011 while the Apple M1 chip found in Apple laptops and iPads was just a hair away at 1,754,456 points. The 15 Pro Max also outperformed the Android-leading Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+, which scored “only” 1,632,859 points.
The A17 Pro boasts a 392,643-point CPU score and a 597,734-point outing for the GPU category. Apple claims its new A17 Pro chip offers a 20% improvement over the outgoing A16 Bionic in the GPU department, and AnTuTu shows a difference of around 27% in favor of the new chipset’s GPU. The A17 Pro also leads the memory category test with a score of 306,164.
