Today, as planned, Infinix released the Smart 8 smartphone in India. It’s similar to the Smart 8 HD but has a different chipset and camera setup. Check out its features and price details here.
The Infinix Smart 8 features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 500 nit and a punch hole for the selfie camera.
The Smart 8 is powered by a Helio G36 processor and supports up to 2TB of storage with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with an additional memory card slot. It runs XOS 13-based Android 13 out of the box.
It has dual cameras on the back – a 50MP main sensor, an auxiliary lens and an LED flash on the front, an 8MP selfie camera.
It boasts of a 5,000mAh battery with 10W Type-C charging support.
Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 186g weight, a pill-shaped cutout that shows charging and status updates like Apple’s Dynamic Island, Bluetooth 5.1 and dual SIM.
The device will come in four colors – Galaxy White, Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold and Timber Black. The device is priced at Rs 7,499 for the 4GB/64GB variant in India. You can buy it on January 15 at 12 noon via Flipkart.
