Huawei P70 series to come with a 6.7-inch screen and 50MP main cam with variable aperture

A new post by well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, reveals some of the specifications of the Huawei P70 series and the leak seems to have come at the right time.

Since the Huawei P60 series was released in March last year, it’s safe to assume that the P70 family will be out in the next two months or so.

On the front of the post is a quad curved OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 6.7-inch diagonal. It’s also a bit hard to tell from the machine-translated Chinese, but the handset may come with two front-facing stereo speakers.

Additionally, the trio of back cameras will be arranged in an unconventional triangle formation. The main one is Omnivision’s 50MP OV50H shooter with variable aperture and 1/1.3″ sensor size and 1.2µm pixels.

That hardware will draw power from a high-density 5,000 mAh battery, and according to previous leaks, the Kirin 9010 chip will likely be at the heart of both devices. A significant ultrawide camera upgrade is also expected
