Honor X50 GT to arrive on January 4 with a 108 MP camera

Honor launched the X50 series in the summer of 2023, and we already have three official variants. A fourth will join the family, as the brand has revealed that the X50 GT is being announced on January 4.

The smartphone looks similar to the Honor X50 but will have a fancy white color, a yellow racing stripe and a classic black color scheme.

The new phone will have a 108 MP 1/1.67” sensor and an f/1.75 aperture on the front, which is evident from the writing on the back of the white version. This is probably the popular Samsung HM6 sensor, which is regularly seen in many midrangers including Honor X50 and Honor Magic6 Lite/X9b.

According to Honor CMO Harrison Zhang, the new phone will emphasize the “extreme pursuit of performance” of the GT series. The Honor X50 GT features improved heat dissipation, a more responsive screen and other improvements rarely seen in the midrange X lineup.

The event is scheduled for 19:30 local time, and we expect Honor to release more details within seven days of the event.
