Honor’s entry into the flip foldable smartphone market has been rumored for a long time.
The company has confirmed that it is actively considering the form factor but it won’t be rushing its flip foldable to market.
A new tip from Digital Chat Station suggests that the first flip foldable from Honor will arrive in Q1, 2024 with a 4,500 mAh battery which could make it the flip foldable with the largest battery capacity.
The new tip also suggests that Honor will maintain its focus on horizontal folding phones with new additions such as the Honor V Purse 2 and Magic V3 that will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Honor is also working on bringing satellite communication and a variable aperture main camera to its Magic 6 flagship bar smartphone lineup which is slated to launch in the first quarter of 2024.
