As we said yesterday, Google doesn’t seem to be able to contain its excitement for the release of its upcoming Pixel device. Leaking them on his own website, or releasing very revealing teaser videos. There were two of these yesterday, one showing a few quick glimpses of the Pixel Watch 2, the other basically depicting the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro from all possible angles.
So, if you’ve seen this and wished the Pixel Watch 2 would get the exact same treatment, you’re in luck as Google has done just that this time. Following yesterday’s “Sneak Peek at Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro” video, we now have a “Sneak Peek at Google Pixel Watch 2”. Here it is.
We’ll reiterate that the resemblance to the first-generation Pixel Watch is definitely uncanny. The only obvious new thing, apart from a slight redesign of the crown, is the “IP68” inscription on the back, which means that unlike its predecessor it will also be protected from dust.
The Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel Watch 2 will go official (well, more official) at a special event in New York on October 4. Pre-orders will start on the same day.
