According to a source familiar with the matter, Samsung is changing the aspect ratio of both displays on the Galaxy Z Fold6. The report also claims that the Z Flip6’s display is also getting some changes.
Starting with the Z Fold6, the handset is rumored to get a display with a different aspect ratio. The report didn’t specify, but we suspect the cover screen will eventually adopt a wider aspect ratio. The overall design will be more with the Galaxy S25 lineup in early 2025.
The Korean tech giant is also looking for ways to reduce weight and the crease of the main display.
As for the Galaxy Z Flip6, the clamshell device will get a large cover screen and a main screen with fairly thin bezels.
