The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 partnered with Maison Margiela for the Maison Margiela Edition last year, and the brand collaborated with the Parisian haute couture house again to create the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela Edition.
Samsung says it has “collaborated with Maison Margiela to deliver a device for those who seek freshness and unconventionality.” The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela Edition comes in a special white package, which reflects Maison Margiela’s “unfinished style using a distinctive stitching pattern in the center of the flap.”
The package, covered with a paper-based woven cloth fabric, resembles an archival sample storage used in atelier stores to hold fabric samples and threads. It includes a flap leather case, a flipsuit case and two types of splatter flipsuit cards. It also comes with a 25W PD charger and a USB cable.
The phone itself depicts the inner workings of a Maison Margiela jacket with a design featuring a glass back. This is enhanced by the exclusive silver and metallic effects of this special edition.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela Edition also comes with special icons and wallpapers, Flipsuit cards change the theme of the phone to match the card pattern.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela Edition will be available in select markets from November 30 Samsung hasn’t revealed the price yet, so we’ll have to wait until next Thursday to know how much it will cost, you can register here to get notified.
