Infinix Smart 8 visits the Google Play Console too, has its specs outed
A few hours ago we saw the upcoming Tecno Spark 20 on Google Play Console, and now it’s time for Tecno’s sister brand Infinix to get the spotlight, as its Smart 8 has also made its way to Google Play Console.
The listing revealed some of its specs with a very low-quality image shown on its front.
The Infinix Smart 8 has 3GB of RAM, runs Android 13, and is powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC, which means two things: it won’t have 5G support, and it’ll be cheaper. Its screen resolution is 720×1612.
Previously leaked details include a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging, thanks to its FCC certification. Infinix Smart 8 will measure 164 x 76 x 9 mm.
It’s unclear at this point when Infinix plans to make the Smart 8 official, but when a new phone appears on the Google Play console it usually doesn’t take more than a few weeks to launch. The Smart 7 was released in February, for what it’s worth, and the Smart 7 HD followed in April (surprisingly, they both have the same screen resolution as the Smart 8, despite the name).
