OnePlus already officially confirmed the announcement date for its first foldable, October 19, while leaks took care of the rest by showing us the design and specs of the OnePlus Open. At this point, there is nothing to imagine except the price.
Today’s report is about the Indian launch and Abhishek Yadav believes that the device will be released on October 27 with a price tag of INR 139,999 (~$1,680). That’s a hefty price, but it’s also not a big surprise, as foldables still charge a price premium.
The price doesn’t seem that different from what was leaked for Europe a few days ago, so we believe the new report. A German source cited the $1,699 European launch price as only two color options – faux leather black and glass back green.
However, Indian tipster shows the device in green and gold colors, so Indian users might get an additional color. We suspect that black, the most chosen color, will be excluded from the Indian selection.
