Vivo Y100t arrives with Dimensity 8200 and a familiar design
Vivo Y100t has been announced in China today. The phone has a 64MP camera with 120W charging and will match the iQOO Z8, which will launch in China in August 2023.
The only difference is the writing on the back, which is now “vivo” instead of “iQOO”; Other than that, the two phones are identical, even priced the same.
The Y100t features a 6.64” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The chipset is the Dimensity 8200, with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. The rear cameras are 64 MP + 2 MP, while the selfie shooter is 16 MP behind a punch hole.
The company is advertising the Y100t as an alternative to the Y100i and Y78t, and the phone has the fastest charging ever – 120W for the 5,000 mAh battery. The phone ships with OriginOS 3 out of the box.
The vivo Y100t comes in white, blue or black and will be available for sale in China on February 28. Prices are CNY 1,499 ($210/€190) for 8/256 GB, CNY 1,699 ($235/€220) for 12/256 GB, and CNY1,899 ($265/€245) for 12/512 GB.
