Xiaomi 14 Ultra camera specs and samples emerge
Xiaomi’s long-awaited 14 Ultra is officially launching in China this Thursday and will then make its global debut at MWC Barcelona on February 25. We now have some more details surrounding the most hyped-up aspect of the device – its cameras.
Xiaomi has shared multiple teasers and camera samples from the 14 Ultra, confirming most of the leaked features we’ve seen over the past few months. The main 50MP camera will have a Sony LYT-900 sensor with f/1.63 – f/4.0 variable aperture. Xiaomi claims that the 14 Ultra’s main shooter uses 136% more light than the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
Two telephoto shooters using Sony IMX858 sensors will be attached to the main cam. The first is a 75mm equivalent lens with an f/1.8 aperture and a 3.2x optical zoom and the second is a 120mm focal length (5x optical zoom) with an f/2.5 aperture. The fourth camera is expected to be a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 12mm focal length and 122-degree field of view.
Xiaomi has also shared a bunch of camera samples from all four cameras that give us a glimpse of what to expect. The images look impressive at first glance but we’ll wait to get our hands on the device to see how it stacks up against the competition.
