Redmi Note 13 4G in for review
Xiaomi started the global rollout of its Redmi Note 13 series last week and announced a pair of Note 13 4G models. Redmi Note 13 4G is the most affordable entry in the series and the latest device for office.
Based on the spec sheet, the chipset is the only difference between the Note 13 4G and its 5G counterpart but let’s see what else we got here.
Our Note 13 4G review unit comes with a midnight black back with a mirror-like glossy finish. It looked clean out of the box but as soon as we set up the device, it got tarnished by fingerprints. Fortunately, Xiaomi is bundling a gray silicone case to help with that problem. You get a 33W charging brick and a USB-C cable.
The Redmi Note 13 4G features the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate just like the Note 13 5G. One advantage of the Note 13 4G is that it boasts an under-display fingerprint scanner while the 5G model sticks to a side-mounted reader.
There’s a trio of cameras on the back, each headlined by its own ring and a 108MP main shooter. The rest of the Note 13 models have 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro cams The software front is covered by MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Other notable features include an IR blaster, headphone jack and an IP54 rated design.
That’s it for now, it’s time to go through our review process of the Note 13 4G. Keep an eye on our homepage for its full review.
