4G-only Poco M6 Pro debuts with Helio G99-Ultra, 64MP camera, and 120Hz screen
Xiaomi launched the Poco M6 Pro 5G in India last August with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, 90Hz LCD screen, 50MP dual camera setup and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. Today, the brand announced a 4G-version of the phone that will be available globally.
For starters, the Global Poco M6 Pro is powered by the Helio G99-Ultra SoC, which means it’s limited to LTE connectivity. It boots Android 13-based MIUI 14 (will get HyperOS later), and has 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of expandable storage. The smartphone is built around a 6.67″ 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Below the display is a fingerprint scanner and a centered punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera.
At the back, you’ll find a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units. The main camera has OIS and comes with a feature called Film Camera, which includes 12 film filters and eight film frames “for greater creative options and memorable visual sharing on social media.”
The rest of the international Poco M6 Pro’s highlights include a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W charging support (0-100 in 44 minutes), USB-C, and IP54 rating. The smartphone has dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster and an NFC chip.
The global Poco M6 Pro will be offered in Black, Blue and Purple colors with two memory options – 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, priced at $199 and $249 respectively. Both will go on sale starting January 11 through leading e-commerce channels with an early bird discount of $20.
